If you like traditional flat nappies the "nie-tetra" flat is for you.
It is a revolutionary flat square nappy thanks to the material it's made of.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN NIE-TETRA AND NIE-TETRA MOSS:
*Already known for you Nie-tetra is silky to the touch - available in August.
*Nie-tetra Moss is a new flat nappy, matt to the touch - available from 26.06.2024
FEATURES OF A "NIE-TETRA":
- made of organic cotton - a safe, breathable and 100 % natural absorbent material
- high absorbency - 180gsm is really a lot and at the same time thin, which makes it suitable also for tiny newborns
- always soft, does not become hard even after many washings and drying in the sun
- it stretches very well, softly covering the bottom
- because it is stretchy, it is more comfortable than traditional flats and can last longer
- the edges do not curl after drying in the tumble dryer or in the sun, so there are no annoying and so uncomfortable folds on the edges for baby
- does not crease
- is finished flat with an overlock and does not create thick uncomfortable bumps once folded
- it is a rectangle when purchased and will shrink to an even square after several washes
- distributes moisture well
- made of a rectangle, but after a few washes it becomes a square and remains a square forever
- needs to be covered with a woollen wrap
The Nie-tetra is stretchy, for that reason no clothespins are needed, simply tuck the ends under the nappy on the baby's tummy. If your baby is a little older and more active you may find the Snappi clip useful.
Composition: 100% organic cotton GOTS
The material used to make the flat was produced in Poland in accordance with GOTS and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 standards.
The nappy is made in Poland
"Nie-tetra" flat cloth nappy
"Nie-tetra" flat nappy is made from a stretchy material, so it will fit your chid longer than a standard flat of the same size if you use the nappy wrapped around the babies hips. After the baby will grow out of the size, or if its absorbency isn’t enough anymore, use the flat as a pad insert - pad folded, or use it as a booster to any other cloth nappy.
If the flat is going to be used in any other way than pad folded, we recommend to choose the size as below:
40x40cm - for premature babies (will shrink to approx. 37x37cm)
50x50cm - for babies from 3 to 6 kg (will shrink to approx. 46x46cm)
60x60cm - for babies from 5 to 8 kg (will shrink to approx. 55x55cm)
70x70cm - for babies from 8 to 11 kg + (will shrink to approx. 64x64cm)
The nappy will shrink to the above sizes after a few washes depending on the washing temperature and drying method. Tumble drying at maximum temperature will accelerate shrinking.
Please note that a particular size may fit your baby for a longer or shorter period of time, depending on their build and how the nappy is folded. When the baby grows out of a particular size, it can be used folded into a rectangle or as a booster.
